so i was watching infinity war last night and i just realised something about this part of tony & thanos’ 1v1 fight.. tony punches into thanos’ gauntlet hand even tho he knows that punch wouldn’t do shit. but what he’s really doing is making sure that thanos can’t close his fist, preventing him from using the gauntlet. and the punch is a distraction so that tony can sneakily materialise a shiv and attempt to stab thanos with it before he’s able to use the gauntlet to like. turn the shiv into a rose or something. wow we stan one (1) tactical genius
