So, the reason my blog is marked explicit is actually because I marked it explicit, so no kiddies could get on my case about posting adult content where they could see it.
But you know what, this brings up an important question: are people like me just flagging our own blogs for deletion? What happens to “explicit” blogs on the 17th? Tumblr claims they’re going to still allow explicit text for now, so I think I should be okay to hold onto the label and keep writing omegaverse stuff and smutty one-shots.
That said, this is Tumblr. They aren’t exactly known for discernment. I have no idea if I should try to “purify” my blog and turn it SFW to try to avoid deletion. (I’m not sure this would even help, given some of the things Tumblr has already nuked.)
I have always been fond of that theory – specifically because of the way Sandal predicted that magic would return. His description, to me at least, sounds a lot like the Veil coming down and the world being reformed. “Everyone will be as they once were” and so on. But he doesn’t necessarily make it sound apocalyptic. It’s surprisingly neutral, if he truly was predicting some kind of world-ending event.
Now, given what I know about the lore… I still have a hard time of conceiving how that would even work, what the world would look like after it’s done, etc. The world without a Veil is completely uncharted territory for us and there is very, very little information about how this all works. So… I will be very interested to see how that part plays out.
But I do think it is very likely to happen. Let’s just say I have faith in Sandal’s abilities.

Most indies who live here are pretty freaked out, even if we don’t create NSFW. As I’ve said before, my content isn’t going to get me banned. But Tumblr is still one of my biggest social media homes. I have more followers here than almost anywhere else.
And it’s exceptionally likely, in my estimation, that this site is about to go the way of MySpace. That freaks me out.
So if there’s any indies you’ve been following for a long time here, and you’ve always meant to buy some of their stuff, but you haven’t yet—NOW IS THE TIME, MY LITTLE CHICKADEES.
Get yourself a Christmas present. Or ask someone to buy it for you. Just support the artists you’ve loved here for a long time, because you might literally lose them in just a few days.

Chapter Two of Phangs will be going up this weekend in anticipation of the book launching in full, and so far the feedback has been…well lets just say I’ve been internally crying with relief for over a month that people seem to actually like it.

I’m tired of girls trying to invalidate their own feelings during times of pain, especially to their friends. Your break up meant something. That friendship you lost was a hard blow. I understand why you feel tired this semester. Sometimes this “modern woman” stereotype is patriarchy’s last attempt; patriarchy disguised as feminism. You don’t have to be “wise beyond your years”; your pain and crying does not mean you are not intelligent. If you feel your friends demand justification for your pain and ordeals, they’re not friends. You’re strong but human. Remind yourself emotional space is part of liberation.
